Overview
Alnmouth Community Rowing (ACR) is a coastal rowing club offering recreational and competitive rowing. They wanted to update their ageing website to attract new members as well an have an easier way to keep all club members up to date with the latest news and events.
Making waves
ACR are based in the beautiful Northumberland coastal village of Alnmouth and this idyllic location is a major selling point to potential new rowers. To make the most of this a mix of high quality photography and video was used throughout, all wrapped up in a modern, clean style layout.
Any time, any place, anywhere
ACR wanted every member to have the ability to create and manage their own rowing session. We enabled this by setting up a private membership system within the website that provided easy access to all their relevant info. This was linked to a robust and easy to use event creation and booking system.
The big event
The event creation and booking system was designed to allow the quick creation of a new activity. This was combined with an online messaging system that allows members to discuss individual events in bespoke groups. Each member was also provided with a personalised area showing events they have created or plan to attend.
